Heart Opening Winter Solstice Ceremony

This gathering will be led by myself and Gina Navarro.  Gina is passionate about all things Ancient and deeply connected to her Mexican roots and her spiritual practices. Chef by trade, she is a graduate from a Bachelors in Gastronomy. Food and wine lover, she has now entered the wine retail industry to share her passion for food + wine pairings. You can often find her daydreaming about new dishes that she is creating in her mind or practicing yoga.

What you can expect!

Upon arrival there will be plenty of parking just to the right of the Retreat Centre.

You will be greeted at the door and welcomed to settle in the beautiful space either on your yoga mat or on a chair.  There will be music playing in the background.

• Learn about and enjoy cacao medicine if you choose to do so (Cacao Medicine Ceremony details below)
• Be guided through a heart opening meditation & red thread ritual 
• Enjoy a bowl of warm, intentionally made soup to fully integrate and nourish your whole being *** Bone broth based, vegetarian soup​ ***
• Learn about soup/food as medicine
• A safe judgment free space
• Connection
• To leave with an open heart and sense of vitality 
• Sharing circle

Cacao is a powerful ancient, sacred medicine. The Aztecs believed it was a gift from God. It has several benefits to the physical & spiritual bodies.

During this ceremony we will be drinking "Xocolatl" to connect with its medicine by grounding ourselves and allowing it to bring in feelings of bliss, love and expansion.

We will contribute to the collective by raising our vibration, will support each other as we walk into the "dream" season and as we open + expand the heart space so we can enter a new cycle from a place of unconditional love.

• Offerings will be provided but feel welcome to bring something (i.e. flowers, crystals, candles, honey, etc.)
• Expect smoke (Palo Santo)

This gathering is taking place at Light of the Prairies Retreat Centre 15 min outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Specific directions will be sent to you in your reminder email 3 days prior to the event.
